(Web Desk) – Fashion model and a medical student who rose to prominence after a striking photo titled ‘Maldivian Girl With Aqua Blue Eyes’, committed suicide in a hostel in Bangladesh, DailyMail reported on Friday. 21-year-old Raudha Athif was a second-year student in Islami Bank Medical College in Rajshahi of Bangladesh. She was found dead by her classmates on Wednesday in her dormitory.
LAHORE – Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has said that no one has the right to criticize on other person’s personal life. During an interview, Abbasi suggested that Punjabi theatre mujras and item numbers hold no difference and are the same in nature. LAHORE - Actress Mehwish Hayat has said that Indian filmmakers usually cast Pakistani actors in B and C grade roles. She says that Pakistani actors make their way to Bollywood in search of fame, however; the present treatment with the artists in the neighbouring country should open their eyes. Mehwish has said that she has no interest in working in Bollywood and will prefer to work in Pakistan as she is being offered numerous drama and film projects. She is of the view that item songs are not a bad thing and there is no harm in performing on them.
LAHORE– Actress Sadia Imam has said that she is not against the exhibition of Indian movies in Pakistani cinemas. The actress says that cinemas need movies for their survival however lack of Pakistani films makes place for Indian ones and cinema owners screen them for their business. “Whoever has invested millions hopes for revenue too. Annually 14-16 films are screened in cinemas which result into a crisis situation,” she said. Sadia told that she has no plans to work in films and wants to limit herself to TV dramas.
